Turner Asia Pacific has inked a licensing deal with The Maj Group, an international real estate company, to develop a Cartoon Network-themed entertainment park in Bali, Indonesia.

The Cartoon Network Entertainment Park will house the island’s biggest water park and indoor entrainment center, both of which will prominently feature Cartoon Network insignia and IP. Guests can expect live performances from network characters including “Ben 10,” “We Bare Bears,” “The Powerpuff Girls” and “Adventure Time.”

“We are proud to be Turner’s partner of choice in bringing the Cartoon Network experience to Bali and game-changing the entertainment industry landscape in Indonesia,” says Gita Wirjawan, chairman, MAJ Group. “The new park will enhance the development of The MAJ Nusa Dua complex which will offer a full suite of leading hospitality and entertainment choices for the whole family. Furthermore, it will further cement Bali as the premier family destination in Asia and one of the world’s top tourist locations.”

This will be Indonesia’s first Internationally-branded theme park and Cartoon Network’s first theme park to offer both indoor and afternoon attractions. 

Cartoon Network Entertainment Park is set o to open in 2020.
