
Late rapper’s original restaurant concept will come to life this month in New York City at Sweet Chick.

Taking place April 7-9, the Powamekka Café will take over New York’s Sweet Chick restaurant on Ludlow Street, which is owned by John Seymour and Nas. The café will give Tupac’s friends, family and fans the chance to revisit the late rapper through a curated collection of personal photos from his childhood, his poetry and music memorabilia from his favorite artists. The café will also feature his favorite food, including meatloaf, gumbo and his cousin Jamala’s fried chicken wings.
Additional information regarding the upcoming clothing and merchandise line is forthcoming.
