“Yo-Kai Watch,” the animated series from Japanese creators Dentsu, will make its debut across South and Southeast Asia on action and Anime station Toonami later this month.

The kids’ network will air 65 half-hour episodes that will be available on an exclusive basis in almost all countries around the region.

Starting tomorrow, Toonami will air the series as part of its Anime Siege primetime programming block.

A special 90-second music video for “Gera Gera Po” (the show’s theme song) is also airing, teasing the premiere, as well as a watch-and-win competition.

“‘Yo-Kai Watch’ is the perfect complement to Toonami’s dynamic anime line-up,” says Mark Eyers, chief content officer and vice president, network, kids, Turner International Asia Pacific. “We’ve seen kids in North Asia react so positively to this unique series with its eccentric and surprising characters, and uplifting music. In both Japan and Korea, the franchise’s success has extended way beyond the screen to become a genuine phenomenon loved by both kids and families. We can’t wait to see ‘Yo-Kai Watch’ enthrall Toonami’s audiences in South and Southeast Asia.”
