The shoe retailer will bring its anime-inspired collection to the U.S. and Canadian markets for the first time.

NORTH AMERICA–Skechers USA and Toei Animation have joined forces once again to extend their “One Piece”-inspired collaboration to the U.S. and Canada.

The footwear collection features six different colorways inspired by the series’ characters Luffy, Chopper, Sanji, Zoro, Law, and Doflamingo across Skechers’ D’lites range.

The Skechers X “One Piece” was originally exclusively available in South Korea and China.

“Pairing the iconic, long-running anime series ‘One Piece’ with one of our top heritage styles resonated with our consumers in South Korea and China, who have been driving trends for the past few years,” says Michael Greenberg, president, Skechers. “And now fashion moves at light speed, so as influencers around the world had already been embracing Skechers D’lites and the chunky sneaker trend, we started to see style purveyors–from Hypebae, Hypebeast, GQ and High Snobiety–covering the Skechers x ‘One Piece’ collaboration as a must have fashion style. We knew it was time to introduce the collaboration to the U.S.  and Canada–and fast, and we’re glad it is with Toei Animation, the pioneers of Japanese animation.”

The Skechers x “One Piece” line will initially be available this July at Skechers retail stores throughout North America as well as online at Skechers.com and at select specialty stores.
