Toei Grows 'Dragon Ball,' 'One Piece' in EMEA

EUROPE–Toei Animation has signed on several new licensing partners to further grow the anime properties “One Piece,” “Dragon Ball Z” and “Dragon Ball Super” in the EMEA region.

Toei Grows 'Dragon Ball,' 'One Piece' in EMEA

Undiz, Dolci Preziosi and Chaks will release new merchandise inspired by both franchises popular characters.

For “One Piece,” Toei has tapped Undiz to develop a line of underwear for both boys and men. The new boxers will feature characters from the series and will be sold in franchise stores, as well as Undiz retail locations, across Europe and the Middle East. The boxers will also be available on the Undiz e-shops.

Meanwhile, Dolci Preziosi has signed on to launch a new range of “Dragon Ball Z” and “Dragon Ball Super” confectioneries. The sweets collection includes candies, advent calendars, ice creams and more, and will be available in Spain and Portugal later this year.

Finally, Toei has partnered with Chaks to create costumes and wigs for kids and adults. The costumes will feature San Goku from “Dragon Ball Z” and “Dragon Ball Super” and will be released in June 2018 in specialized and independent stores, as well as online,

in France, Benelux and GAS.
