Nickelodeon Viacom Consumer Products, a division of Viacom International Media Networks, has appointed licensing agent TLC to exclusively represent its brands across Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

TLC will spearhead all licensing and merchandising activity across the G/A/S region for relevant properties within VIMN’s portfolio including SpongeBob Square Pants and Teenage Mutant Turtles, among others.

TLC will focus on expanding NVCP's existing business in the market and securing new deals with both traditional and non-traditional licensees.

TLC will represent all NVCP properties' licensing rights as well as commercial media sponsorship campaigns, and will work closely with the VIMN channel teams to maximize synergies between the channels, licensees and retailers.

“We are constantly looking to optimize our business models and reviewing our choice of partners to ensure we are positioned for maximum growth and return on our intellectual property, and I can think of no better partner than TLC to advance our growth and the expansion of our hit properties in these markets,” says Ron Johnson, executive vice president, consumer products, VIMN. “TLC’s expert insight, local knowledge and strong relationship with regional retailers make them the perfect partner to grow our business in what is a complex and heavily fragmented retail landscape.”
