U.K. charity will highlight Tinky, Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po in its shops, merchandise and fundraising events.

DHX Brands has partnered with U.K. charity Barnardo’s to feature the “Teletubbies” brand in a series of merchandise and fundraising initiatives.

From April 2017, shoppers will be able to purchase limited edition Tinky, Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po from Barnardo’s shops throughout the U.K., which will help support disadvantaged children across the U.K.

“We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with ‘Teletubbies’ next year,” says Javed Khan, chief executive, Barnardo’s. “2017 is going to be a very exciting year for Barnardo’s and we’re thrilled ‘Teletubbies’ will be part of that.”

Additionally, the “Teletubbies” will also support the Barnardo’s Big Toddle, its annual fundraising event for children under 5 years old.

“‘Teletubbies’ celebrates play, love and laughter, so working with the U.K.’s leading children’s charity that helps to improve vulnerable children’s lives is a natural fit for the brand,” says Charlotte Hill, senior brand manager, DHX Brands.
