Team Liquid, a worldwide professional esports organization, has announced the opening of a dedicated Brazilian ecommerce store to service its regional fanbase. Team Liquid’s Brazilian ecommerce experience goes live on June 24, allowing fans to purchase official team merchandise, produced by local vendors, for the first time. The launch of the Brazilian store coincides with a refreshed web store design across Team Liquid’s existing global stores, including North America and Europe.
"It is with great happiness that we announce the launch of our store in Brazil,” says Rafael Queiroz, general manager, Brazil, Team Liquid. “It has been more than four years of waiting and a lot of work so that we can give our fans the same experience they have abroad. This is a very important step to solidify our market presence and so that everyone who loves Liquid can now enjoy our products and celebrate their shared passion for the organization."
Team Liquid’s latest global apparel line Liquid x “Fortnite” will lead the Brazilian store’s launch offerings as it’s simultaneously released in North America and Europe. Liquid x “Fortnite” brings to life the world of “Fortnite” via a collection of patch work garments, cut and sewn together from different upcycled fabric pieces, featuring six custom created, player specific illustrations that include their favorite “Fortnite” skin, weapons and fan easter eggs for Liquid Alixxa, Harmii, Mitr0, Pulga, Scoped and Stretch. In addition to the apparel collection, Team Liquid has also developed and released a map in Fortnite Creative, where the landscape consists of six different sections modeled after the six player collection illustrations. The entire Liquid x “Fortnite” collection will be available for purchase Friday, June 24.
All regions will be able to purchase the foundational Liquid x “Fortnite” items, including Reboot windbreaker, track pants, cap, mousepad, socks and buffed beanie. However, certain player-centric designs will be regional exclusives. In Brazil, fans have exclusive access to Brazilian star Pulga’s “Fortnite”-inspired T-shirt, shorts, sweatshirt and mousepad. The Brazilian store’s launch slate also features a curated selection of existing Team Liquid apparel and accessories, including pieces from the LVTH-N, Athletics and New Arrivals 2022 collections.
"Brazil became a big part of Team Liquid's brand in 2018,” says Mike Milanov, chief business development officer, Team Liquid. “Over the years, we have been investing heavily into infrastructure locally and are proud to finally unveil our digital storefront. We will continue building and investing into this fan experience over time as Team Liquid grows in the region."
Throughout the week, Team Liquid is supporting this global announcement with social engagement and hype videos featuring athletes and streamers, including pro players from “VALORANT,” “Rainbow6 Siege,” “Free Fire” and “Fortnite.”
