Studio 100 International, the international licensing and merchandising division of Studio 100 Group, has secured a new licensing agent for the Israel territory. Point of View has signed on to help build Studio 100’s Maya the Bee brand further in the region. The deal is slated to run through December 2015.

Point of View has already secured its first partner, Magnum, for apparel, and will see the agency continue to add licensees for categories such as toys and games, apparel, publishing, back-to-school, furnishing, promotions and more. Additionally, Maya the Bee has 15 existing partners in the country, including master toy partner IMC and publishing partner Clasikaletet.

“We are delighted to have Point of View on board as our representative agent for Maya in Israel,” says Evy Van Nederkassel, licensing and sales manager, CEE, Nordics and Israel, Studio 100 International. “We have already welcomed Magnum on board as our first apparel licensee and now look forward to working with the dedicated team at POV and seeing Maya the Bee become even more popular than she already is.”

“Point of View is planning to build Maya the Bee so she becomes one of the most beloved characters in Israel–our team loves the brand and is dedicated to its success,” says Nurit Tishler, director, Point of View.
