Studio 100 Media has started production of a second Maya the Bee movie, which is slated to hit cinemas in 2017/18.
Maya the Bee 2–The Honey Games will be produced by Studio 100 Media in co-production with Australian production company Studio B Animation and in association with Flying Bark Productions. Studio 100 Film will handle international sales.
The first Maya movie was screened in more than 160 countires and pre-sales for Maya the Bee 2 have already been made in South Korea, Turkey and the Middle East.
