EUROPE–AMC has tapped Poetic Brands to produce a line of apparel featuring the network’s hit show “The Walking Dead,” in a deal brokered by Striker Entertainment.
Poetic Brands will capitalize on the brand’s cult status by creating a line of adult nightwear and underwear for men and women featuring a range of classic images from the series.
“We are delighted to partner with Poetic Brands, as they have an incredibly strong record in extending properties into the apparel sector. ‘The Walking Dead’ continues to be an A-list property, and we are confident that Poetic Brands will roll out some much anticipated merchandise for their dedicated fan base," says Anna Kislevitz, director of licensing EMEA, Striker Entertainment.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be working on a range featuring ‘The Walking Dead.’ It’s one of the most popular TV shows out there and has a huge following, so we are expecting a great performance at retail,” says Elliott Matthews, executive director, Poetic Brands.
Season eight of “The Walking Dead” is currently airing on AMC.
