The new deal for "Orphan Black" games, which was brokered by Striker Entertainment on behalf of Temple Street, expands IDW's partnership with the brand. The publisher launched its first "Orphan Black" comic book in February, selling close to half a million copies.
IDW is now planning a deductive card game based on the TV series that will hit shelves in July, as well as a tabletop game that will be unveiled at a later date.
"Orphan Black" returns for its third season April 18 on BBC America and across AMC network channels (AMC, IFC, SundanceTV and WE tv) in the U.S. and Bell Media's channels (Bravo and MTV) in Canada.
