Netflix has teamed up with Fever to create an interactive theater show inspired by “

Stranger Things.”

“Stranger Things: The ‘Drive Into’ Experience,” allows attendees to be quarantined in their vehicles and drive through multiple “Stranger Things” sets where actors and special effects will bring the show to life around them. As each scene ends, the convoy consisting of 24 cars will move on to the next scene and be replace by another convoy.

“Stranger Things has always been larger than life and we wanted to flip the world upside down for our fans,” says Greg Lombardo, experiences head, Netflix. “So buckle up like Billy is driving, keep your eyes on the neon lights and steer clear of the shadows because there’s no telling who or what you might come across in Downtown Los Angeles this October. Whatever you do, don’t get out of your car!”

The creative direction of the event came from Secret Cinema, which brought a Starcourt Mall immersive recreation to the U.K. in late 2019 and early 2020.

According

to

Variety

, the hour-long experience will include recreations of the Upside Down, Starcourt Mall and Russian Labs. Some of the show’s characters will make an appearance in the event as well.

A waitlist is available on

the event website

and fans can begin buying tickets on Aug. 26.
