Starbright Licensing Named Licensing Agent for ‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’ in Italy
The agency plans to expand the anime property’s presence in the Italian market.
Starbright Licensing, a leading agency in Italy for the anime world and the kidult category, has announced its latest portfolio acquisition in partnership with Konami Cross Media New York for “Yu-Gi-Oh!”
Starbright Licensing will help extend the presence of “Yu-Gi-Oh!” in the Italian market by developing its licensing program while increasing the range of licensed consumer products.
Since the launch of the first Yu-Gi-Oh! manga in 1996 to its anime series debut in 2000, the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise includes eight anime series and three theatrical movie releases. The anime series is available in over 200 countries worldwide and is available on various broadcast, digital and streaming platforms.
