Disney Cruise Line has announced that its event Star Wars Day at Sea will return aboard 15 of its Disney Fantasy sailings in 2018.

The first Star Wars-themed events took place last year.

The Star Wars Day at Sea, which will take place on one day of every Disney Fantasy sailing, will include a full day of celebrations including a deck party with fireworks, encounters with the galaxy’s formidable and heroic characters, themed family and youth activities, unique food and beverage offerings and special merchandise.

The day will also include at-sea screenings of all the Star Wars films and television series as well as character meet-and-greets, Jedi training, arts and crafts, trivia games and more.

"The Force is stronger than ever onboard the Disney Fantasy, and we are excited to bring back Star Wars Day at Sea in 2018," says Karl Holz, president, Disney Cruise Line. "The popularity of the event over the past two years inspired us to continue immersing our guests in the Star Wars galaxy. Everyone, from the youngest Padawan to the most knowledgeable Jedi Master, is invited to enjoy this event of galactic proportions and make memories that will last a lifetime."

The Disney Fantasy sailings featuring the Star Wars Day at Sea event will kick off in January 2018.
