Production has begun on Sprout’s new original series “Floogals,” which is part of the preschool network’s strategy to increase its original programming lineup.   

The 11-minute CGI/live-action is being co-produced by Sprout and The Foundation with Zodiak Kids signed on to handle distribution.

“The Floogals” will follow the comedic adventures of three aliens that land on earth and move in with a family to find out everything they can about human interactions. The series will premiere on Sprout in 2015.
