24-hour preschool network Sprout launched its first-ever pop-up store at The Market & Shops at Comcast Center in Philadelphia last Saturday.

The store will open every Saturday in December, with a selection of products featuring the original Sprout characters Chica and Star.

Sprout will also host hourly performances on Saturdays throughout December and will include Chica and feature hosts from Sprout’s live daily morning block “The Sunny Side Up Show.”

The pop-up shop is the latest retail extension for the network, which announced plans to expand its consumer consumer products program in conjunction with Big Tent Entertainment earlier this year. With the help of CaféPress, the channel also launched an e-commerce site in February, which offers a variety of products from Sprout series including “The Chica Show,” “Pajanimals,” “The Good Night Show,” “Caillou,” “LazyTown” and “Wibbly Pig.”
