Nickelodeon has teamed up with the Middle East entertainment resort Atlantis, The Palm to feature SpongeBob SquarePants.

The resort will host a series of events and appearances throughout the summer featuring characters from the popular animated series.

Among the planned events are a range of game and activity sessions, a So You Think You Can Laugh (Like SpongeBob) performance, Nickelodeon Hollywood Night parties complete with a classic red carpet entrance, branded add-ons to the Atlantis Kids Club Summer Camp programs and daily character meet-and-greets.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai to bring two of Nickelodeon’s most popular characters, SpongeBob and Patrick, to the resort this summer,” says Gerald Raines, vice president, recreation business development, Nickelodeon. “Fans will have a chance to experience the fun and optimism of SpongeBob SquarePants through many engaging activities that show why everyone’s favorite sponge has become such a worldwide phenomenon.”
