Spin Master’s Tenkai Gets First Partners

Spin Master has launched the first phase of its licensing program for its recently released new construction toy line, Tenkai Knights.

The Tenkai Knights by Ionix toys were created in conjunction with the “Tenkai Knights” TV show, which airs on Cartoon Network and is co-produced by Spin Master and Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions.

Spin Master is now adding five licensing partners to the program in the U.S.: Accessory Innovations for backpacks, bags and cold weather accessories; Bentex for sleepwear; Franco for bedding, accessories, beachwear and bath; Freeze for t-shirts and hoodies; and Penguin Group for publishing. The new products will arrive at retail in August.

“As we launch this new and category changing franchise, we are thrilled to partner with like minded, best-in-class companies delivering notable brand extensions,” says Adam Beder, executive vice president, global licensing, Spin Master. “It reinforces the emotional connection that children have associated with the Tenkai Knights.”
