Spacetoon, the free-to-air kids’ channel that broadcasts in Arabic to 22 countries, has inked a number of major broadcast and licensing deals.

First, the channel has secured the TV rights for “Power Rangers Dino Charge,” and has launched a promotional campaign for the show in collaboration with Bandai ME and Toy Triangle.

The channel has also secured the rights for the Japanese series “Doraemon,” Nelvana Enterprises’ “Little Charmers” and PGS Entertainment’s “ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks!”

Meanwhile, Spacetoon’s licensing arm, Arabian Licensing Company, has been building on the success of a number of properties such as “Masha and the Bear” and the first Arabic language version of “Sesame Street.”
