Steve O'Pray, former chief executive officer of PPC Ltd., and Mark Hurry, legal and commercial director of PPC Enterprises, have set up a new licensing agency—Space Enterprises Ltd.

The pair acquired PPC Enterprises from its group company and re-branded it as Space Enterprises Ltd. O'Pray and Hurry will retain the brand portfolio, which includes Monty Python, Pinky and Perky, Little Britain and preschool property The Hive. The new company will be based in Soho, and will continue to work closely with the production studio and design teams at PPC.

"Over the next few weeks, we will be announcing some exciting licenses and the acquisition of a well-known global brand," says O'Pray, who will be managing director.

Hurry takes on the title of director of licensing.
