Animation studio Rainmaker Entertainment and independent production company Blockade Entertainment are planning their second theatrical film together, Sly Cooper, based on the PlayStation video game franchise from Sony Computer Entertainment America.

The CG-animated movie is planned for release in early 2016, and tells the story of Sly Cooper, an orphaned raccoon thief, along with his childhood friends and partners in crime, Bentley Turtle and Murray Hippo.
