U.K. kids’ social network BinWeevils.com has teamed up with Sony Music for the brand’s first-ever album, “Bin Tunes.”

Featuring 12 songs, many of which were performed or written by BinWeevils members, the album will be released April 1 and is available now for pre-order.

Designed to celebrate the ethos of the digital social platform, where much of the creativity is driven by kids themselves, the album includes tracks written by kids, sung by kids and has an album cover voted for by kids.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with music giant Sony Music to create an album which reflects the spirit of BinWeevils.com, by inviting kids to contribute so substantially to its content,” says Amelia Johnson, co-founder, BinWeevils.com. “We wanted this to be an album by kids for kids, so it’s fantastic that we’ve been able to empower them with a say in so many aspects.”

The record brings characters like Tink, Clott and Posh to life like never before on tracks including “The Great Bin Weevils,” “So Much Better with Two” and “Splosh the Dosh.”
