Fox Digital Entertainment has tapped Orpheus Interactive to develop "Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect," an interactive, episode-based game inspired by the TV series, which ended its seven-year run Tuesday.

"Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect" will continue the SOA universe beyond the show, giving fans a chance to explore an original story, location and previously unknown chapter of the motorcycle club.

Over the last seven years, Fox Consumer Products has slowly built the SOA brand beyond the TV show into a full-fledged Americana lifestyle offering. Now, with the show closed, the upcoming mobile game will provide continuing content to serve as a platform for the SOA lifestyle brand.

"The slow, methodical rollout of the SOA brand has gotten us to a point where, in year seven, it's something that can continue. Rarely do you see a lifestyle brand coming from a television show, but Sons of Anarchy is now a brand, regardless of if you know its on FX or not," said Peter Leeb, vice president of global brand strategy, TV, FCP, in the License! Global August feature "Fox's Fashion Sense."

Show creator and executive producer Kurt Sutter teased the game earlier this year, tweeting, "I cannot give you any more details, but I will tell you that there will definitely be an SOA game...and it's pretty f**king awesome.“

The first episode of "Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect" will arrive for mobile phones and tablets in early 2015 worldwide.
