SLR Productions will develop a new animated series based on Felice Arena’s bionic boy spy book series Andy Roid.

With support from ABC ME and the Australia Children’s Television Foundation, SLR Productions will transform the tween book franchise into a 26 x 30-minute animated TV series.

“Andy Roid” will follow the story of Andy, a half boy half robot, after he is recruited as the youngest ever Global Intelligence Agency spy. During the series, he’ll have to successfully navigate his new found robotic technology amongst the spy world as well as balance living a normal teen life.
