De Agostini Editore has picked up the exclusive rights to 600 episodes of DreamWorks Animation television content for its DeAKids channel in Italy.

The deal was brokered by Planeta Junior, which represents DreamWorks content for distribution across Central and Eastern Europe.

DreamWorks content will begin airing on the channel in September, with shows such as "All Hail King Julien", "The Penguins of Madagascar," "The Adventures of Puss in Boots" and "Shrek."
