Disney and British broadcaster Sky have announced plans for a new movie channel that will bring Disney/Pixar movies to the U.K. and Ireland on Disney’s first co-branded movie channel.

Beginning March 28, the Sky Movies Disney channel will be the home of all new Disney-branded movies, as well as classics from the past.

In addition to recent hits such as Brave and Wreck-It Ralph, new movies like the upcoming Oz: The Great and Powerful and Monsters University will be available exclusively on Sky Movies Disney about six months after they have ended their cinema run.

Alongside new releases, Sky Movies Disney will also offer an extensive library of classic Disney films like Bambi and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, as well as Disney/Pixar animated movies such as Finding Nemo, Cars and A Bug’s Life.

In addition to the launch of the new channel, the agreement gives Sky Movies the first subscription pay TV movie rights to other titles distributed by Disney in the U.K. and Ireland, including new movies from Lucasfilm and Marvel Studios.
