Characters from the Warner Bros. film will grace the streets of the park’s DC Universe area.

Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in Los Angeles, Calif., has unveiled a series of new haunted attractions for its annual Fright Fest, including a themed scare zone inspired by the Warner Bros. movie Suicide Squad.

The new zone, called Suicide Squad: The Six Flags Fright Fest Experience, will transform the park’s DC Universe area into DC Midway City, where some of the film’s stars will be roaming the streets.

The branded area will also display a host of digital imagery and special effects that will create an inferno as buildings burst into flames and creatures attack.

In addition to the Suicide Squad zone, Fright Fest will include a total of seven mazes, six additional scare zones and more “scare-actors” than ever.

“Six Flags Magic Mountain has kicked it up again in the haunted attraction genre,” says Bonnie Sherman Weber, park president, Six Flags Magic Mountain. “Combined with the new Suicide Squad scare zone, more scare-actors than ever before and additional nights, Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest is a definite leading player in Southern California Halloween locales.”

Fright Fest will be open on select dates through the end of October.
