The Six Flags-branded theme park is expected to open in 2022.

MIDDLE EAST–Six Flags Entertainment Corporation and the Public Investment Fund, Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, have unveiled plans to develop a Six Flags-branded theme park in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Through the agreement, PIF will develop, design and license the Six Flags brand for Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia’s first entertainment, sports and cultural destination.

The Six Flags-branded theme park is expected to open in Riyadh in 2022.
