A number of Marvel character-inspired remote-control vehicles will hit retailers nationwide this year from Silverlit Toys.

This spring, kids and fans can expect Iron Man 2 whip-it racers ($39.99); an Iron Man 2 turbo racer ($29.99); Super Hero Squad micro racers, featuring Captain America, Silver Surfer, Falcon and Thing ($9.99); Super Hero Squad mega force trucks, featuring Iron Man and Spider-Man ($24.99); and a Super Hero Squad iron-tech racer ($19.99).

For fall 2010, Silverlit will release an Iron-Man 2 iron-trike ($39.99), as well as a Spider-Man-themed spider-trike ($39.99), spider-action quad ($49.99), spider-tech racer ($19.99) and a whip-it racer ($39.99). Mass retail and toy store partners include Toys"R"Us, Walmart, Target, Kmart, JCPenney, Macy's and Sam's Club.

In March 2009, Silverlit acquired French toy company Ouaps. The company also owns international preschool brand Jojo in France, Spain and Russia. Silverlit will debut its Jojo range this fall in the U.S., which will include Hide-and-Seek Jojo, Follow Me Max, Splashing Jojo, electronic tractor Jojo and his friends, a Jojo buggy and a Jojo Bump Bump.
