Shout! Factory and Hasbro Studios, the production and distribution division of Hasbro, have signed a new distribution agreement to bring nine animated movie and TV classics to the home entertainment marketplace in the U.S and Canada.

This multi-year, multi-property alliance provides Shout! Factory exclusive rights to five My Little Pony animated family adventures, as well as the TV properties “Transformers Animated” (2007-2009), “Transformers: Armada” (2002), “Transformers: Energon” (2004) and “Transformers: Cybertron” (2005).

“Over the years, we have enjoyed tremendous success with Transformers Generation 1, Transformer Prime and My Little Pony product lines on family home entertainment shelves in North America,” said Richard Foos, Bob Emmer and Garson Foos, founders, Shout! Factory, in a joint statement. “We are extremely excited with this new opportunity and honored to continue our relationship with Hasbro Studios. Many of these memorable animated classics have been long out-of-print or unavailable in the home entertainment marketplace. We look forward to bringing these quality family entertainment programs to retail and share them with a new generation of audiences for years to come.”
