Bioworld, Mad Engine, Zara and more will produce new merchandise for the classic preschool property.

NORTH AMERICA–Sesame Workshop has teamed up with a slate of licensees to debut a variety of apparel and lifestyle items inspired by “Sesame Street” and its characters.

Licensees on board include:

  • Bioworld apparel and accessories that will launch at Urban Outfitters, BoxLunch, and Spencer’s in early 2018;

  • Mad Engine for apparel for all ages, as well as “Sesame Street” x Neff branded t-shirts and beanies for adults;

  • Zara for apparel for men, women and kids as well as backpacks, handbags and shoes for children, tweens and teens;

  • Lauren Moshi for new capsule collections spanning apparel, headwear, bags and art canvases for women and children;

  • Drake General Store for a specialty line of apparel for kids and adults featuring “Sesame Street” characters.

  • Globe Brand for skateboard decks inspired by Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Count von Count and Bert and Ernie; and

  • The Land of Nod for “Sesame Street” décor, playroom furniture, bedding, apparel, backpacks and toys.

“As we approach ‘Sesame Street’s’ 50th anniversary, partnering with innovative creators in the fashion and lifestyle space helps us reach fans of all ages in new and surprising ways,” says Gabriela Arenas, vice president, licensing, North America, Sesame Workshop. “Each of our partners brings powerful expertise in product design and merchandising as they interpret our classic characters in their own unique styles.
