For the third time, Sesame Workshop China and China's CCTV Children’s Channel have partnered to produce a Chinese New Year specialfeaturing Big Bird, Elmo and Cookie Monster.

This year, “Sesame Street’s” favorite characters have invited Children’s Channel hosts Ju Ping, Xiao Lu, Huang Wei, Du Yue and Jin Dou to celebrate and enjoy the Spring Festival festivities in Singapore.

The show will feature five segments, shot at Universal Studios Singapore, that will be a part of CCTV’s one-hour special “Let’s Celebrate Chinese New Year,” which began airing on Wednesday. CCTV will rebroadcast the segments throughout the month.
