Sesame Launches Campaign, iBooks

Sesame Workshop will kick off its new early learning literacy initiative, Every Day is a Reading and Writing Day, with an event at the New York Public Library tomorrow. The campaign, which is in partnership with the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, leverages the power of the Sesame Street characters to motivate young children and families to make the most of everyday opportunities to talk, read and write together.

In other Sesame news, the non-profit  has also launched a collection of more than 60 Sesame Street books available for the first time to iBook users in 51 countries, with select titles featuring audio narration and some in Spanish. The books are available now on iTunes.
