On Jan. 16, 2016, "Sesame Street" will launch its 46th season on HBO.
The long-running preschool series announced it was
moving its first-run episodes from PBS to the cable network HBOin August.
At the same time the series will debut a number of changes including 30-minute episodes, new preschool-relevant themes, a new show open and closing songs, an updated set, a new segment called “Smart Cookies” and a new cast member, Nina.
