Sanrio has tapped Loot Crate to debut a new, branded subscription gift box, called Sanrio Small Gift Crate.

The new crate will include an exclusive collection of Sanrio merchandise including apparel, collectibles, accessories and more. The first crate will be themed to Hello Sanrio, the company’s new multi-character brand, and will include an assortment of products and content from Japan and will feature Hello Kitty, Chococat, My Melody, Keroppi, Gudetama, Badtz Maru Little Twin Stars and Pompompurin, among others. It will also include artwork and core Sanrio products.

Additional crates will feature various themes based on Sanrio’s characters and products.

“Sanrio was founded with the objective to foster ‘social communication’–connecting people, nurturing friendships, and bringing happiness to the world through thoughtfully-designed characters, products and services,” says Jill Koch, senior vice president, brand management and marketing, Sanrio. “Loot Crate is the perfect partner to drive Sanrio’s objective of delivering happiness through a unique product offering delivered directly to our fan’s front door.”

The Sanrio Small Gift Crate will launch this November on and will be delivered four times a year.

“Through our collaboration with Sanrio, we’re able to tap into one of the most loyal fan communities with a multi-generational audience worldwide,” says Chris Davis, chief executive officer, Loot Crate. “We’re excited to bring Hello Kitty and more Sanrio characters to Looters with uniquely curated products, while providing this great fan community with an immersively designed experience they wouldn’t find in stores.”
