Safari Ltd., Mango Publishing Expand ‘Dino Dex’ with Toys, Games
New Dino Dig Kits and card games will be available to accompany the series premiere of “Dino Dex.”
Sinking Ship Entertainment (SSE) has announced new licensing agreements for its dinosaur franchise, Dino Dex, with Safari Ltd. and Mango Publishing. The new deals will introduce consumer products designed to captivate young audiences.
Safari Ltd., a longtime partner of SSE, will launch a collection of Dino Dig Kits featuring a T. Rex Tooth Dig Kit, Mineral Dig Kit and Velociraptor Claw Dig Kit. Aimed at inspiring budding paleontologists, these kits are expected to hit the market later this year. Mango Publishing will also release a matching card game based on “Dino Dex,” set for an early 2025 release.
“We are thrilled to continue expanding the dino franchise with new, engaging products that enhance the way kids connect with our shows,” says Kate Sanagan, head of sales and distribution, SSE. “Safari Ltd. and Mango Publishing have been invaluable partners in bringing our vision to life, and these new products reflect our shared commitment to creating educational and entertaining experiences.”
“We are excited to continue our partnership with SSE and their Dino Dex line,” says Alexandre Pariente, chief executive officer, Safari Ltd. “The Dino Dex Dig Kits perfectly align with Safari LTD’s commitment to providing consumers with Toys that Teach, bridging the gap from prehistory to the present day.”
“Dino Dex,” launching this fall on Amazon Prime and Kids+ in the U.S., and on TVO, TFO and Knowledge in Canada, is the latest iteration of SSE’s dinosaur-themed series. The franchise, which began in 2010 with “Dino Dan,” has since grown to include multiple Emmy-winning seasons, games, toys, books, location-based events and a feature film, further establishing its role in children’s educational entertainment.
With these new products, SSE, Safari Ltd. and Mango Publishing aim to strengthen the Dino Dex brand by providing children with fun, educational experiences that bring the prehistoric world to life.
