Rovio Entertainment has tapped Imagine Exhibitions and Jack Rouse Associates to create a new Angry Birds-themed science exhibit that will travel the world beginning later this year.

The ''Angry Birds Universe: The Art and Science Behind a Global Phenomenon" exhibit will feature immersive environments, interactive media and a variety of interactive exhibits. Fans will learn about a wide variety of educational concepts in an entertaining manner, and have the chance to "be the bird" with large-scale slingshots and a series of zip lines.

"From astronauts demonstrating Angry Birds physics concepts while aboard the International Space Station, to teachers using our games in their lesson plans to inspire their students, Rovio is always proud to be part of fun learning,” says Dan Mitchell, director of location-based entertainment, Rovio. “The Angry Birds experience uniquely fosters the science, technology, engineering, art and math initiative, creating a dynamic environment where the whole family can have fun and learn together."
