Boutique licensing agency Reeder Brand Management will represent the brand of the late Chris Farley for licensing, an appointment that was made by the estate of the comedic actor.

"Chris was a universally recognized comedic talent, but to his family he was a son, a brother and a friend first. It was important to us to find commercial management for his estate that appreciated the totality of who he was beyond his success in films and on ‘SNL,’” says Kevin Farley, trustee, Farley family estate. "David Reeder has demonstrated an understanding of how to position iconic personalities and create commercial opportunities to enhance their legacies. We are excited to work in partnership with him to develop and extend the Chris Farley brand.”

The first project planned is a feature documentary that will be produced by Vancouver-based Network Entertainment. The film will chronicle the comedian’s rise, with a focus on his lasting influence and prominence in contemporary pop culture.

"Chris Farley was a personal favorite. The chance to work with Kevin and the rest of the Farley family to make sure Chris is represented in ways that recognize his unique comedic brilliance and enduring appeal is privilege," says David Reeder, managing director, RBM.
