Italian producer and licensor Rainbow arrives at MIPTV this week with a series of international deals already finalized for its top properties “Winx Club” and “Mia and Me.”

Rainbow will present a sneak peek of the new season six of “Winx Club,” which features 26 new episodes created in co-production with Nickelodeon and set to hit the airwaves in spring 2014.

Aimed at 4- to 12-year-olds, “Winx Club” currently airs in more than 120 countries.

Brazilian broadcaster SBT recently acquired season five; Disney Spain bought the first five seasons; in Asia, both NTV7 in Malaysia and okto in Singapore bought season five and theatrical movies; and Noga in Israel, Nova TV in Croatia and Canal Panda in Portugal all renewed their rights to all five seasons.

Another Rainbow girls’ series, “Mia and Me,” is also continuing to grow with new international broadcast deals. The series was recently acquired by Clan TV in Spain, RTBF/OUFtivi in Belgium, Yoyo TV in Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore and Taiwan, KBSN in South and Kazakhstan TV.

Rainbow is also extending the licensing program for the series with new agency appointment including Exim for Latin America, Wild Pumpkin for Australia and New Zealand, PopCorn for Portugal and Point of View for Israel.
