European animation studio Rainbow has a launched new family attraction, the Rainbow Cartoon Lab, which shows children how an illustrated series is developed.
The project, which was created to celebrate Rainbow's 20th anniversary, launched at the Explora Museum in Rome, Italy, Dec. 6 and will begin touring Europe soon.
Kids can also visit a mini-cinema to watch some of Rainbow’s top series, star in a cartoon through green screen technology and create their own animation using a special app. The Lab will also feature a regular Cartoon Masterclass workshop, where artists and professionals from Rainbow will show kids the secrets behind the animation process.
