The CBeebies children’s program will participate in spaced-themed events across the U.K.

Nick Butterworth, creator of “Q Pootle 5,” has unveiled a series of space-themed activities to help promote the series in the U.K.

First, Butterworth and Q Pootle 5 will head to the National Space Centre in Leicester, U.K., to take part in the center’s Small Space Day, taking place May 12. During the event, visitors will be able to meet the Q Pootle 5 costume character as well as hear from Butterworth in his interactive show. There will also be stories, songs, craft activities and trails.

Meanwhile, the Royal Observatory Greenwich will host a “Q Pootle 5”-themed event on July 31. During the activation, visitors will watch an episode of “Q Pootle 5” among the stars in the planetarium. It will also include an interactive presentation from Butterworth as well as a book signing after the show. Visitors can also take part in a “make and take” activity, where they can create their own planets mobile.

“These events offer a great opportunity for us to connect with families and ‘Q Pootle 5’ fans everywhere,” says Butterworth. “‘Q Pootle 5’ is all about imagination and play. We love to share this with children and inspire them, and grown-ups, to take every opportunity they can to nurture and develop their creativity.”

Both events will also be supported with a host of social media activity.
