"Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions," a live event celebrating the video game series, will arrive in the U.K. Dec. 20 following sold out performances across North America.

Organized by The Pokémon Company International and U-Live, the event will take place at the Hammersmith Apollo in London.

Susie Benchasil Seiter will conduct the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra in a performance that combines a full orchestra and large-screen video projections to bring to life the musical themes and visual material of the games.

The event spans all six generations of Pokémon video games from "Pokémon Red" and "Pokémon Blue" to "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y."

“'Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions' is a spectacular showcase of the memorable music that has been a hallmark of the video games for nearly 20 years,” says J.C. Smith, director, consumer marketing, The Pokémon Company International. “The concert is a thank you to fans and an invitation to share our passion for Pokémon by reliving some of our fondest memories of Pokémon. We look forward to seeing fans of all ages enjoying this very special orchestral event together.”
