Pipeline Studios, a global entertainment company producing award-winning animated content like “DORA” and “Work It Out Wombats!,” has appointed Rebecca Lugo as director of sales and business development. This strategic addition bolsters Pipeline’s executive leadership team and reinforces its dedication to shaping impactful and innovative content strategies. 

Lugo will focus on fostering strategic partnerships and lead global sales, distribution, acquisitions and co-productions. Her results-driven approach and expertise in navigating international markets and developing innovative sales strategies will play a key role in strengthening Pipeline Studio’s growing slate of original content.

In her most recent role as head, global sales, Jetpack Distribution, Lugo successfully led her team to achieve a number three global ranking in the Kidscreen HOT50. Her strategies and resilience positioned her team to exceed sales targets, even during one of the industry’s most challenging years.

During her nine-year tenure as sales manager, WildBrain, Lugo played a pivotal role in content strategies and placement for globally recognized brands, including Teletubbies, Caillou, Strawberry Shortcake, Polly Pocket, Carmen Sandiego and Bob the Builder. She worked closely with programming, development and finance teams to maximize opportunities across multiple platforms.
