Entertainment One Family is continuing the international expansion of its preschool series “Peppa Pig” with a new broadcast deal with Discovery Kids that will bring the series to Latin America.

The award-winning series from animation studio Astley Baker Davies will launch in the territory this year.

In addition to airing three times daily, Peppa will also be included in the extensive promotional activity planned for the re-launch of Discovery Kids.

“The launch of ‘Peppa Pig’ in Latin America will complete our ambitious strategy to have full exposure for the brand across the Americas, and we look forward to expanding Peppa into this market,” says Olivier Dumont, managing director, eOne Family.

Peppa Pig currently airs on Nick Jr. in the U.S. and Corus Entertainment’s Treehouse Channel in Canada, with product already on shelf in the U.S. and new licensing deals in the works in Canada.
