Paws, Inc., alongside its roster of international agents, has signed 22 new deals for the classic cat character Garfield.

Five Mile Press has plans for a range of adult coloring books in global territories across South America, Asia and Europe in a deal brokered by Global Licensing. And in a second global publishing deal, agent King Features Syndicate has tapped Hermes Press to create the book The Art of Garfield.

In Europe, agent Gamma Medya has teamed with AG Animasyon Organizasyon ve Tanitin Hizm for mall events and meet-and-greets in Turkey; Cardex Europa is planning greeting cards, postcards, gift wrap, gift tags, wall calendars and gift boxes for Hungary and Romania in a deal brokered by Plus Licens; Bic Licensing has arranged a new partnership with Cereal Italia Industrie Dolciarie for 2016 chocolate Easter eggs with a surprise inside in Italy, Malta, San Marino, Switzerland and Vatican City; BN Licensing has arranged for Leob Uitgevers to create coloring and activity books for Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands; Bulldog Licensing has brokered a deal with Somerbond for men's and women's apparel in the U.K. and Eire; and BN Licensing has arranged for Uitgeverij de Leeuw to create 2016 wall and birthday calendars in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

In Asia, agent Tohokushinsha Film Corporation is working with Cybird to develop a new digital content offering tentatively titled "Play and Learn with Garfield," and Marimo Craft for tote bags, pouches, key covers, key holders, mugs, stickers and other novelty items, both in Japan; while agent Medialink has brokered new deals with Shanghai Holyblade Network Technology for TV Box electronic games and Shenzhen Jin Wan Hao E-Commerce for baby toys in China.

In India, regional agent Al Licensing India Private has tapped Merchant to create watches for all age groups and Wiesner Worldwide Kreations for kids' apparel and footwear.

In the U.S., Boss Creations International is planning a kids' meal program for Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy stores; MJC International is developing a line of adult, misses and junior's sleepwear; and the Triottica Group is creating adult and children's eyewear.

In Latin and South America, Distribuidora de Textiles Avante is creating a line of t-shirts, sweatshirts and pajamas for Mexico in a deal brokered by P&L Global Network; agent Mary Ann Gardner Hume has struck a deal with Denise Tarzijan Tuchie for robes, slippers and nightgowns at the retailer Falabella in Colombia and Peru; and Licenciamento de Personagens has tapped Toys Pelucia Industria e Commercio de Briquedos to develop a line of plush dolls, key chains, pillows, area rugs and backpacks in Brazil.

In Australia and New Zealand, Peter Alexander is creating a range of apparel items for men, women, children and infants that will be available exclusively at Peter Alexander stores and Myer department stores, in a deal brokered by agent Global Licensing.
