The Copyrights Group has added a host of new partnerships and licenses for the upcoming Paddington movie in the U.S. and Canada.

The deals were negotiated in partnership with the brand’s regional sub-agents Lindberg Marketing + Media and Jam Brands on behalf of licensor Paddington & Co.

Paddington, set to premiere Dec. 12 in the U.S. from Studiocanal, will be the first-ever live-action film inspired by Michael Bond’s iconic children’s books.

New products launching this year will include toys, apparel, accessories, puzzles, nursery goods, confectionery, bath accessories, healthy snacks, boxed toy sets, kids travel seats and more.

Publishing plans from HarperCollins include new formats for summer, as well as movie tie-in titles launching this fall.

A new collaboration with Royal Canadian Mounted Police (Mounties) will see co-branded Paddington plush launching in Canada this fall. The launch will be supported by a host of high-profile promotional partners including a Paddington balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
