Silvergate Media has announced plans to launch season two of the animated preschool series “Octonauts” on Disney Channel and Disney Junror the week of April 22. Episodes will air throughout the year and into 2014.

Animated by Brown Bag Films and based on the Octonauts book series by Meomi, the sci-fi TV show follows the adventures of eight underwater heroes that explore the world’s oceans.
