Fashion icon, actress and creative director of House of Harlow 1960, Nicole Richie  will bring her unfiltered sense of humor to a new VH1 reality series based on her tweets.

"#CandidlyNicole," produced by Telepictures and World of Wonder, is based on the AOL online series of the same name.

Voted one of the "best Twitter feeds" by Time magazine, Richie will take audiences on a ride through her own point of view based on her outlandish reflections on social media, where she has more than four million followers.

VH1 has also signed a first look/development deal with Richie's production company, Honey Child Productions.

"#CandidlyNicole" will premiere on July 17th with eight, half-hour episodes.

"Nicole's sharp, acerbic sense of humor and broad audience appeal make ‘#CandidlyNicole' a perfect fit for the VH1 brand," says Susan Levison, executive vice president, original programming and development, VH1. "Viewers will enjoy her unique point of view and earnest look at pop culture as well as her fearless exploration of anything and everything taboo."

Nicole Richie is represented by WME, Impression Entertainment and Grubman, Shire & Meiselas.
