Nickelodeon Russia has acquired two new local language animation series from Russian animation studios–Aeroplane Productions' "The Fixies" and Atria's "Robodz."

"The Fixies" premiered this January on the network. Based on The Little Warranty People stories written by Russian children’s author, Eduard Uspensky, the series follows 8-year-old Tom Thomas and his secret friendship with Simka and Nolik, the children of the Fixie family that live in his apartment.

The new sci-fi comedy series "Robodz" will begin airing on Nickelodeon Russia Friday. The first-ever Russian series to use CGI animation, "Robodz" recounts the comic adventures of different robots sent to Mars to carry out research.
